It's time for some turkey at the girls' school.
You know what that means?
It means I got to work at 6:30 and I'm leaving at 9:30.
And it's Friday.
I mean, that sounds like a dang good day to me.
If only I could work just 3 hours every day.
Does anyone else feel like they sat at home while everyone else went to prom with all their BFFs last night?
And by prom, of course I mean to the latest vampire movie.
I didn't want to go because A) I really don't want to fight over an armrest with anyone and B) that is just way past my bedtime.
But now that everyone and their grandma has already seen it, I feel a little sad that I didn't get to experience it.
Anyone up for going to see the midnight showing of Magic Mike 2 when it comes out?
Totally kidding. Don't get too excited, there is no Magic Mike 2 that I know of.
Oh and speaking of BFFs, that's totally not the lingo anymore.
Now it's BFFLs.
Just in case you were still using that.
I found this out while wrapping K&A's BFFL's birthday gift last night. Kate made her a bracelet.
Her etsy shop will be open for business soon so you can all get your handcrafted paper BFFL bracelets.
Pre-orders available now.
You know what else we did last night?
We ate Taco Bell.
And yes, if you follow me on Instagram you know that I ate Taco Bell for lunch this week already.
Oops, I did it again. Thank you Brittany.
Am I the only one that has kids that refuse to eat off the kids' menu anywhere?! Seriously, we have a better chance of me getting a kids' meal and them getting the adult meal. #expensivekids
So, Kate was DYING for an XXL steak burrito last night.
As in DYING like a grown woman dying to see a vampire movie at midnight.
I refused to spend like $8 on a burrito, not to mention steak at TB? Are you sure you want to go that route?
But since she wasn't going to live another day if she didn't have it, I did what any other mom would do.
I told her if she paid for it herself, then she could get it.
So she did.
And she ate almost the entire 15 lbs of it.
And then a cookie
While Kate was busying spending her money, I decided what I want to be when I grow up.
I'm not sure there is an official name for it, so I can't like go to career day at the girls' school or anything.
But that's no reason to give up on my dreams.
I want to be the girl that writes the quotes on the sauce for TB.
Yep, you heard it here first.
You should know that I almost got married over one of these one time.
Yep, that FH of mine.
We were at Taco Bell one night a couple of months after we started dating. I asked him for mild sauce. He handed me one.
It said "Will you marry me?"
The rest is history. True story.
Okay, so he kinda laughed about it, and I kinda updated my facebook status and filed it away to tell our future great grandchildren, but same difference.
I'm also thinking that my child would be great at this Taco Bell job.
Dream big sweet child of mine, dream big.
She is, as we all know, great at using her dry erase board.
Yes, she got it back.
But poor girl tends to spend a lot of time in her room these days.
But now we finally found a career to put her practice to good work.
That taco bell trip last night? Game changer.
Man, I've been wanting to use the words "game changer" since I heard it last night on Duck Dynasty. That worked out well.
And now, to leave you with two fun pics for the weekend.
I love these girls. And their evil eyes.
We like making these human sandwiches. Something about being a mom and not even being able to lay on the bed alone....or go to the bathroom alone for that matter.
Poor FH, he usually is the top to our sandwich, but someone had to take the picture.
And last, but not least.
I really want to be a fashion blogger when I grow up.
So I took my first "fashion blogger" pic.
I hope you enjoy it and that it inspires you.
I know none of you would have ever combined a sweater with jeans and Toms. Complete with a work name badge.
This is big people. Be sure to tweet it/pin it so everyone can be inspired.
And yes, that's the bathroom floor.
Keep it classy Friends!
Happy Friday!
Today, I'm linking up here!!

OMG you crack me up - Taco Bell twice - YUM! And I haven't seen the last movie either - want to BAD!
ReplyDeleteHahahah I love this post! I agree about Breaking Dawn. I sat at home too and my BFFL (see what I did there?) went to see it and texted me at like 1:00am saying how amazing it was. So, now...obviously I'm regretting not going and contemplating going to see it today. By myself. No shame.
ReplyDeleteKudos to Kate for downing that burrito. I can do the same thing with a crunchwrap supreme...or two.
And I have those exact TOMS! Love 'em. So comfy.
Have a happy weekend!! xo
LOL!!! This was the post of the week. My kids refuse the kids menu too. Whats worse is we will get to a restaurant and ask "Whats my limit" as in $$, I dont know why I just think its so rude and trashy I can not stand the question!!! LOL So I told them from now on if they ask it the answer will be one dollar.
ReplyDeleteOnly working three hours and a two time Taco Bell week - jealous!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Hilarious! I love Tbell...I agree with the steak, scary road to go down! AND I recognize that ID, what do you do mamma!?!
